Whether you're looking for a place to promote your lenses or help with a technical question, there is a place for you at the SquidU Forum. SquidU Forum is the heartbeat of the greatest community on the web!

This lens is your guided tour through the SquidU forum. From learning the rules to having fun, this lens will show you where to go & what to do when you visit the SquidU forum.

The best way to keep up with all the latest Squidoo news is to visit the SquidU forum. The thing that makes Squidoo the coolest site on the web is the people who make up the Squidoo community.

SquidU forum is the place where Squidoo lensmasters (aka: Squids) go to get caught up on the latest Squid news, promote their lenses, get help with lensmaking problems, get advice on how to make their lenses better, or just make friends and chat.

Learn The Rules!

~ Spam: just don't do it. Thou also shalt not fill the forums with multiple threads on the same topic or sockpuppet

~ No posting ads for non-Squidoo services

~ You can and will get banned if you post spam. And, your account could get locked and/or deleted. So just don't do it.

Learn The Rules

~ Thou shalt not flame, harass, denigrate, spam, malign, or otherwise finger-point and name-call at other lensmasters, Citizens or moderators. This one's a biggy. This too can get you banned.

~ SquidU is also a strict no-tolerance zone. If you harass, name-call, or put-down any other user or lensmaster, you'll find yourself banned from using the forum.

~ Be nice and take your personal issues elsewhere

Learn The Rules

~ Squidstaff love interacting with smart front-line people, so they stop by the forums from time to time to hear your ideas and share updates. However, this isn't the place to post bugs.

~ So if you have a bug or problem that can't be fixed at the forum, feel free to file a Bug Report

~ Please read this to report a Locked Lens

Now that you've introduced yourself, it's time to start building lenses and showing them off. We all need a little extra help polishing our lenses, I know I need a lot of help catching my typos, and the Critique Me section is a great place to get extra help polishing our lenses.

If you're looking for help with spelling, grammar, or just looking for ideas of what else you can do to make your lens look great, post it in this section & ask for a critique. Lot's of Squids will happily help you out. Then once you've been around awhile, you can join in & help new squids by giving critiques also.

Before asking your fellow lensmasters to critique your lens, be sure to read these helpful tips Looking for a critique? Read this first
